Elise McRoberts

An executive, producer, writer, personality & host, Elise has worked with many of California’s top cannabis companies and revolutionary founders. Since 2016, Elise has gained experience across all sides of the supply chain, helping brands to strategize, launch, pivot and survive in the nascent and tumultuous industry. In 2018 Elise joined Doc Green’s to lead the rebrand of the Berkeley based legacy company which successfully relaunched in 2019. Elise is currently Chief Marketing Officer.

A pioneer of cannabis events, Elise has created and produced various one-of-a-kind, cutting edge experiences combining cannabis with other elements such as music, art, food and fashion. Notable events include the NorCal CannaCuisne Gala (2017), Cannabis Now x Willie’s Reserve Holiday Session (2018), High Society (2019) and The 215 Compassion Benefit Last Hurrah (2020).

One of the OG “influencers,” Elise judged her first Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam in 2012, and continued to judge many categories in many Cups for High Times over the years in California. In 2019, Elise judged concentrates and the best social clubs in Barcelona for the Inaugural Terp Tower Invitational; and since 2018, Elise has been proud to judge edibles for The Emerald Cup.

A passionate activist and personality, Elise has been seen on VICELAND, spoken at SXSW, written and been quoted in various articles, published in two books, and had her work, face, and puffs of smoke appear in Reuter’s, The New York Times, Forbes, PBS, The Atlantic, even the official D.A.R.E website and many more media outlets.

As Elise continues to evolve with the movement, she remains committed to activism focused on womxn & minority empowerment, social justice; and the mission to normalize cannabis and all those who use it.

Elise lives in Marin County, CA with her one eyed yorkie, Ms Axlrose. When she’s not working, you can catch her fire or LED hula hoop dancing on her IG Stories. @elisemcroberts
